Meera Abueida

About this Interview

Interviewee, Meera Abueida, is an Arab American woman born in Gaza, Palestine. She was interviewed by AAST 3151/HIST 3672 student, Alia Collazo, in March 2022. Abueida moved to the US at age five, but often travels to Gaza and Abu Dhabi to see family. In this oral history, Abueida covers sensory memories of her travels to the Middle East. She explains the languages she uses and describes the cultural differences she encountered throughout her experiences.
